It’s playoff time in high school football, with Classes 2A, 3A and 4A playing first-round games on Friday. On this episode, Brad previews some of the notable matchups (10:22), including Shannon at Houston.
Meanwhile, teams in 1A, 5A and 6A are jockeying for playoff berths and seeding. There are a bunch of possible scenarios (7:41), with teams like Starkville and Thrasher among those vying for a spot.
Brad also looks back at some of the Week 10 action, including Tupelo’s dominant win against Clinton (4:59), which gave the Golden Wave the Division 2-6A title. Amory claimed the 4-3A crown with a blowout win over Nettleton (6:47).
There’s some basketball talk today, too, with the season starting last week. Brad recaps the Tupelo boys’ season-opening win (1:40), and he goes through his preseason rankings (3:24).
