On the boys side, the guys discuss Tupelo (1:55), Shannon (3:09), Ripley (4:40) and Ingomar (6:39). As for the girls, they look at Ingomar (12:20), Tupelo (13:34), Pontotoc (14:15) and Lafayette (15:11). And of course, we have the Athletes of the Week (18:08).

Area basketball teams are vying for division tournament titles this week, and Brad Locke and Gene Phelps take a look at some of the early results and upcoming matchups (4:20). Also on this week’s show, a glance at the final Daily Journal basketball rankings of the season (1:18), All-Area soccer candidates (12:39), Athletes of the Week (16:02), and the state bowling championships (18:38).
Some changes are coming to the softball and track and field championships (1:21), but Brad Locke and Gene Phelps mostly have basketball to talk about on this week’s episode. They’ll take a look back at some key games earlier in the week, including wins by Tupelo, Itawamba AHS and Saltillo (6:08), and they look ahead to next week’s division tournaments (10:53). Also, Gene talks about Oxford’s girls winning a state soccer championship (15:17), and Brad presents the Athletes of the Week (17:36).
