Baseball and softball division races have wrapped up, setting the table for the first round of the playoffs.

Corinth’s softball team won Division 1-4A by knocking off Tishomingo County (2:00), as eighth grader Kinley Pittman had a big game. In 1-3A, Kossuth edged Mantachie to earn the top seed (3:45). Brad takes a look at some of the notable playoff matchups this weekend (6:00).

On the baseball side, Nettleton beat Amory to claim the 4-3A crown (6:42), while New Hope clipped Saltillo for the 1-5A title (7:09). Notable playoff matchups include South Pontotoc-Mooreville and Itawamba AHS-Ripley (7:48).

Also on the show, Tupelo is losing a couple of coaches (8:51), while Corinth has made several hires (10:30). We also have Athletes of the Week (11:57).
