In the baseball/softball rewind (1:26), he recaps Lafayette’s win over Pontotoc, which featured strong play from pitcher Radley Hill. Pine Grove’s girls are on a roll and entered the Daily Journal rankings this week. Looking ahead (4:13), there’s a top-5 softball matchup between Kossuth and Saltillo, and Tupelo’s baseball team has a critical three-game series against division foe Starkville.

Also, some coaching news: Angie Malone is resigning as Kossuth’s girls basketball coach (5:04). In four years, she won 83 games and a Class 3A state title.

Brad closes out the show with Athletes of the Week (6:21).
