#266: Five area teams capture state titles – 03/09/22

The state basketball tournament wrapped up last week in Jackson, with five area teams bringing home a gold ball.

Biggersville’s boys and girls pulled off a sweep (2:11), giving the Lions back-to-back titles and the Lady Lions their first ever. Booneville also swept (5:32), marking the first time two schools have swept in the same season. And Pine Grove’s boys broke a 45-year title drought behind the play of Carson Rowland and Jamas Cox (6:54).

Brad also has a baseball update on East Union (8:46), which is off to a 7-0 start. Plus, a Shoutout (10:21) and Athletes of the Week (11:10).
