Football season is here – sort of. Several area teams will get a tune-up this weekend when they play jamboree scrimmages. On this episode, Brad and Dalton look at some of the notable jamborees (9:54), and they note that not all teams find the scrimmages useful.
Brad paid a visit earlier this week to Booneville, which is led by Division I prospect Dallas Gamble (4:08). The senior played quarterback last year but will be used differently this season, which should be a big help to both him and his team. Dalton took a trip to New Albany, which is looking to make big strides on defense under first-year coach Cody Stubblefield (7:14).
And don’t forget: This Sunday, the annual Football Journal preview section will be released (2:22), and for the first time, it will be in online form as well (15:00).
