In the Football Rewind, he recaps Tupelo’s 42-10 win over Corinth (2:06). The Golden Wave offense took a while to get going, but when it finally did, the game quickly became a blowout. Houston also won big, over Shannon, but lost star tailback Jalen Washington to an injury (5:49). And Ripley’s defense flexed its muscles in a shutout of Kossuth (7:18).
Looking ahead to Week 4 matchups, Baldwyn visits East Webster (7:53), Amory hosts North Pontotoc (8:54), and Lafayette visits Oxford in the Crosstown Classic (10:03).
Brad also has an update on Belmont volleyball player Kerstin Moody (11:00), who recorded her 1,000th career kill Tuesday. In baseball news, McKinley Holland has resigned as Tupelo 49ers head coach (12:17).
